Gala dance 13 1/2" Who hasn’t felt butterflies in their stomach just before a big event? In its 2017 Annual Piece, Lladró recreates the moment before that special occasion. And it does so with its most elegant palette of colors, in dark tones, that contrast with the light skin of the young lady. The matte finish of the piece accentuates the soft modeling and the textures of her dress and gloves. Equally noteworthy are the flowers in her neckline and at the back of the gown, as well as in her headdress. They are all handcrafted petal by petal, as is the rose she is holding in her hand, a remarkable decorative element for an adorable piece that will only be available during this year.
